Wolverhampton Halfpenny Green Airport hosted a one day “fly-in” event on 22nd May 2026 in celebration of the de Haviland Aircraft Chipmunk’s 80th anniversary. A total of 55 Chipmunks participated on the day & with our grateful thanks to Dave McNally, many of these can be seen in the album below. The majority of these aircraft remain in their original military service livery.
