The Altus AFB Airpower Stampede Open Day & Air Show took place over the weekend of 12th & 13th April 2025 in beautiful blue skies & warm sunshine. The occasion allowed the 97th Air Mobilty Wing who are the based host unit, to showcase all flying components of their inventory, notably the KC-135 Stratotanker, KC-46 Pegasus & C-17 Globemaster III aircraft.
The static displays comprised an impressive collection of current aircraft in USAF service, whilst included in the flying display schedule was a very smartly finished B-29A (Doc) & C-47A (Boogie Baby)
