On 8th April 2022, these four F-35A aircraft diverted into RAF Lakenheath whilst in transit from Spangdahlem AFB in Germany back home to the USA. The 34th FS is part of the 388th Fighter Wing which is based at Hill AFB in Utah. The four aircraft in question had just completed a deployment to Europe & here they can be seen taxiing for departure on 9th April 2022.
